Style meets in functionality with butcher block countertops! The countertops are made from maple which is a hardwood displaying a stunning straight pattern with some wavy grains. The straight cuts of wood are glued together into slabs resulting in a sturdy and solid top. Maple has a rustic warm yet traditional feel. Don’t want to use maple wood? No problem, the countertops can be crafted from any wood.
Maintained properly, butcher-block countertops will last a very long time. Routine cleaning, using a mild soap or vinegar/water, is the best way to maintain wood counters. It’s also important to re-oil the counters at least every six months with food-safe mineral oil. If the counter gets chipped, scratched, or burned, lightly sand the area with fine sandpaper and then reapply oil.
Our countertops are 100% custom made just for you! Pricing is based on the total square plus the complexity of the design as well as material. These countertops are 1.75-inch thick, maple wood, butcher block style, 37-total square feet, $55 per square foot.
